Inclusion and Diversity Tour - Mansfield LTC

The newly appointed Notts LTA Inclusion & Diversity Officer Susan Allan, has been out and about on her Inclusion & Diversity Tour and recently visited Mansfield Lawn Tennis Club.

Here’s what Susan had to say:

“Great meeting Carol, Chris and Helen, some of the Committee Members from Mansfield Lawn Tennis Club, MLTC, who made me feel very welcome on Tuesday 21st November.

Lots of ideas were discussed on how the Club is engaging enthusiastically with Diversity & Inclusion starting off with their strategic plan. Commitment to working with local schools in the Mansfield area, offering pay to play scheme and investment in the development of coaches.

It was also lovely to hear that a vast expanse of the club’s members from all ages attended a recent social event where the surrounding community were invited to a bonfire evening.

Wonderful to see such commitment, enthusiasm and energy in developing the Club.”
