Notts Ladies O60 Team Report

We had a fairly successful summer with three wins and only two losses to Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.

Thank you to all the team Reinette, Carol, Lorraine, Sally, Helen, Claire, Renee and myself who all represented Nottinghamshire with pride, determination and enthusiasm.

We had a doubles coaching session in the early summer and I hope to continue this as it can only help and reinforce competitive tennis.

Our most competitive match was against Warwickshire in Stratford-upon-Avon during the extraordinary weather when we had sun, hale, thunderstorms and torrential rain in a bubble and won by a match tiebreaker 18/16!

Here’s looking forward to 2025….. there’s life in the old dogs yet!!!
