Notts Summer Mini Tennis League, sponsored by RWB & Longleys Chartered Accountants
The Nottinghamshire LTA Mini League (sponsored by RWB & Longleys Chartered Accountants) is a team tennis competition for 8U and 9U players at tennis clubs around Nottinghamshire. The league season typically comprises 6 events, where all fixtures are played at a centralised venue at Nottingham Trent University Tennis Centre.
The Summer 2024 season saw a fantastic 12 teams from 6 Nottinghamshire clubs enter. A record number of 79 Red & Orange mini tennis players were involved between April and September 2024. Match play events were supported by assistant referees/court supervisors from West Bridgford Tennis Club and the university, including tennis leaders, up and coming coaches, competition organisers and aspiring tennis officials.
Huge congratulations to red ball players from West Bridgford Tennis Club, who topped the 8U Division 1.
Nottingham Tennis Centre and Lady Bay Tennis Club 8U finished runners up by just 1 point.
Congratulations to West Bridgford Tennis Club 9U, who retained their Summer 9U Mini League title, doing so with a 100% fixture win record in the 2024 season.
Caunton Tennis Club 9U finished runners up this Summer 2024, losing out in a narrow defeat to the eventual champions on the final day of the season. Nottingham Tennis Centre 9U finished a close 3rd.
