Sutton Lawn Tennis Club in Sutton in Ashfield Opens New Courts

4 new re-surfaced courts with LED floodlights and with 2 further courts and min-tennis court and a practice wall, Sutton is well on the way to deliver its mission to offer park tennis to all in the local community.

The courts were officially opened on Saturday August 10th by Chairman of Ashfield Council Arnie Hankin and he was joined by Cllr Jason Zadrozny, Toni Flanders (Parks Development) of the LTA, Rick Britton & Sue Clague from Notts LTA as well as coaches, club members and many local residents.

Much praise was given to the Club volunteers, particularly the Wood family and especially Sharon who has worked for years to bring about this momentous transformation.
