Welbeck Tennis Club Open Day

Welbeck Tennis Club held their open day in July - we were blessed with great weather and welcomed many young people and adults who enjoyed a fun day playing tennis in the beautiful surroundings of our club.

The sessions were delivered by volunteers from the Club and Vincent McGrath of On-Court Coaching who is our Head Coach.

New members could take advantage of 50% off membership - 7 visitors took up this offer.

Welbeck Tennis Club, which is over 25 years old, is a friendly expanding club set in attractive grounds of Welbeck Estate near the centre of Worksop in Nottinghamshire. Last year the club had in excess of 120 members. It is a not-for-profit club run by its members for the benefit of its members. Members annual subscriptions are used for the up-keep of the facilities. Our members come from a large catchment area including Worksop, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Ollerton, Retford, Warsop and Bolsover.

A delicious buffer was available for attendees and we ran a raffle with great prizes donated by members.
